It reads the channels it has joined and marks requests, deadlines, and decisions. On weekday mornings it sends you at most five items that involve you.

No. Matin works inside team chat (Buzz), so the team moves to Buzz. There is no connection to Slack.
Chat is the desktop app (Windows / macOS) for now. The admin console is in the browser.
The model can be wrong. Answers link to the original message. If it cannot find a source, it says so.
The bot posts when it joins a channel. Anyone can see which channels it reads. It does not read DMs between people.
This is not the open service. We only keep an email address.
